Vietnam has abundant limestone reserves, widely distributed across many regions, primarily concentrated in the following areas:
+ Northern Vietnam (Hòa Bình, Sơn La, Quảng Ninh, Thái Nguyên, Tuyên Quang, Ninh Bình, Hà Nam, Hải Phòng)
+ Central Vietnam (Thanh Hóa, Nghệ An, Hà Tĩnh)
+ Southern Vietnam (Kiên Giang, An Giang, Đồng Nai, Bình Phước)
The limestone features:
+ High purity (CaCO₃): > 90%
+ Impurities: ≤ 3%
+ Alkali content: ≤ 1.5%
