Slag
Slag cement is a hydraulic cement formed when granulated blast furnace slag is ground to suitable fineness and is used to replace a portion of portland cement. It is a recovered industrial by-product of an iron blast furnace. Utilizing blast furnace slag waste in cement production has contributed to the treatment of industrial waste sources because blast furnace slag cement really has many special properties such as durability in seawater environment, sulfate resistance, low heat emission, suitable for large concrete blocks, good waterproofing.
