Puzolan
Currently, VIetnamese pozzolan is widely exploited and used in cement production.
Pozzolan eliminates free (excess) CaO generated during cement production of hydration, reducing the heat release phenomenon that causes volume expansion and strutural cracking - particularly in hydraulic engineering projects.
Pozzolan promotes the formation of binding agents, filling voids and capillaries in concrete, thereby limiting infiltration and steel reinforcement corrosion. This enhances the product's water resistance and sulfate durability.
Pozzolan improves the economic effficiency of manufacturing facilities by being directly blended into Clinker at a ratio of 15 - 40% without requiring additional calcination.
